huge wiggly news!!!!!!!!!!!

this was composed by James and myself (his were the witty remarks, mine were the squishy ones). We just sent this out to all the folks who didn't know yet.


Hello everybody--sorry for the blanket email, but suddenly there's
some important stuff to say and not a lot of time to say it. You may
have gotten this announcement through other venues, if so, sorry for
the duplicate!

Some of you have noticed that James and I have been a little quieter
and more cloistered than usual this past month. Yes we've been plotting
and scheming and now our plans have come to fruition.

1. James is taking a job in Chicago at his SF salary level. We'll probably be
moved by the end of October/early November. We already have an
apartment that's way cheaper than here, much nicer (all mod cons) and with our good
friends Andrew and Miska living upstairs from us.

2. We're going to be parents in April/May 2002. We were going to wait on
telling everyone about this this, but since we'll be moving about the
time that we would have told
everybody, (after the second set of tests are passed) we decided to
jump the gun a bit and speak now. I'm about 10 weeks along and
everything seems fine (if you can call evening (yes evening) sickness
fine)!

Bidding for position of Godfather may now commence. Anyone who wants to
be Godmother will be required to produce friendly forrest animals and a
pumpkin shaped carriage on command.


We love you all and do not want to lose touch with any of you, so
please keep the emails flowing and plan on visiting us in Chicago
starting late 2002 (that's when we think the weevil will be bearable
for folks to be around). We're still finalizing some bits and will
keep everyone apprised of any other interesting info.
