rice cereal
Aug. 26th, 2002 08:44 pmEmily and I listened, sang and danced to the entire FLOOD album by They Might Be Giants.
She giggled at me. She giggled at her dad this morning. She's got a smile that will cause you to do her bidding immediately and a laugh...oh a laugh that makes you wiggle your toes and dance like a monkey.
She spent most of the day smiling. And the last two nights she's fallen asleep on my chest like she did when we first brought her home.
She's eating rice cereal like there is no tomorrow. She's wearing it and rubbing it in her ears and on her feet and sneezing it on me. I laugh throughout dinnertime. She grabs the spoon out of my hand and puts it in her mouth. She looks triumphant.
I can feel this happiness.
