May. 11th, 2004 10:50 amI had a really wonderful weekend thanks to the Savages, Andrew and Miska. It was really neat to see Jola and finally meet Damadei. It was a most excellent way to end my convergence attendance (I know, never say never, but future visits, say in the next 10 years, really are unlikely and I'd like to go out on a high note).
The Bean had the best time running amok in The Congress on Saturday. I was quite proud of her fearlessness and how she looked in her princess dress (made my Andrew's sister).I had the best time seeing everyone looking so beautiful and managing to fit into my corset (thanks to chad's lacing and some weightloss in the last couple of years). James gave me the weekend (plus new computer speakers and BIG FISH) for mother's day, and a fine mother's day it was.
Alex had my camera and took lots of pictures I'll be giving to Chad. I looked like nostril in the pictures, but did look fantastic in reality (I don't know how to pose for pictures, I always forget and face full on). Alex made my eyes look better than they have ever looked ever ever ever. I felt absolutely happy and comfortable to be there.
And now I really am ready and happy to go back to being BeanMom. It was wonderful and I'm happy this all is a part of who I am, not necessarily what I'm doing now, but a wonderful facet I'm very glad I explored. Thank you all for being so lovely. I hope you are all coming for cookouts starting as soon as the rain stops!
