So I'm quite mad for adding music and voiceovers and effects to the Bean's home movies (I can't scrapbook for shit, but I can do a mean blog and video) so that brings me to two questions:
Other than the Vid editing that comes with XP what would you suggest? I have an ooold copy of Adobe premier, but it's too old for what I have and probably the new version is too expensive. So keep in mind, I'm not a film auteur, but I'd like something fun and with a few bells and whistles, but not too expensive.

tabbyfoo and gardenmama are the two I know have some talent....so is there a good book with suggestions? How do you get started if you are a scrapbooking idiot? I have lots of craft things from the various stuff I've done over the years (hole punches, cool scissors, some cute paste on dealies, construction paper)...are there websites with sample layouts?
