the 4th of July

so what is everyone doing?
Should we plan something here? But isn't the 4th sposed to be outside? Can we have a cookout in the park somewhere?

We're trying to decide if Ian is ready for fireworks this year. He tends to be kind of sensitive to noise, I'm sure its because of the tubes in his ears.. but he does have ear plugs he uses when swimming and tolerates those pretty well. I'm not sure about taking him to Grant Park, its impossible to make a quick exit out of there.
