although they are easily one of my favorite bands...especially live...house of blues annoys me beyond all compare. last time they were at metro which was, of course, perfect. i had contemplated going but,.....yuck? :( i'll have to think on it. are you for sure planning to go?
ooo what is annoying about the venue? I had that problem with a few places in SF. It wouldn't have mattered (almost) who was playing-I would just not go.
I'm not for sure, because if the doors don't open until 10:30--then there is an opening act...well we live about an hour outside of Chicago now, so long story short: I'm old and that is late :-)
ok so where to start on HOB....no parking except for extreme expensive garages and lots, downtown, yuppies galore, bizarre rib eating crowd hanging around, very expensive drinks, etc etc etc.
