Please help the kitties

ok, some of you may know that my friends rescued a box of 7 kittens and 2 cats. They'd been abandoned by a junkie bitch and left to die. They lived in their bathroom for nearly three weeks...slowly but surely being adopted by lovely people. I myself have Mr. teatime, the runt of that litter.

here is the whole story

http://www.patcalifia.com/kittens.html

So the deal is, because the momma cat has such bad ringworm no one will adopt her and she is stuck in the bathroom because Matt and Patrick have a two year old son, an old grumpy granny cat,two HUGE dogs and a small SF house that also holds Patrick's office. We need to get This momcat to the vet and get meds, but it's expensive. I just dropped $250 to get Mr. teatime in shape and I'm donating what I get from some of my auctions toward the cause.

So anyway....mattblakk@earthlink.net is the address for paypal and I'm not just asking, I'm begging for donations to offset the medication and vet visit so we can get this momma cat taken care of.

If you have any questions, please talk at me!

clovis is a friend of yours?

He's my husband's best friend...tiny planet.

Yes, teeny planet. I'm a former acquaintance of Jim's as well. Santa Barbara is a strange, incestuous place, it is...I'm one of the ones who sent roses when you guys got engaged. My name has changed since I last saw him; he'd have to see a photo before he'd remember me and the whole Sordid Tale of me...My last conversation with him was at the Ventura Theater in 1997, I think, before he moved to SF and I moved in with my last boyfriend, and he was so ready to find someone wonderful and my heart just broke for him. Once I knew he was in the competent hands of a fellow cat advocate who doesn't mind the fact that he hates to shop, I was elated. Still am. Glad to see that married life is all it was cracked up to be - and I hope you conceive soon! Jim and I are both identical twins; I think we bonded a little over that, and I know that the identical twin gene is pretty strong, so get ready! You might have two!

Best -

siobhan

i remember...as a matter of fact, those roses are part of a dried "arrangement" (stuffed nicely in a vase way above cats ability to knock over) in our guest room. James has had really nice things to say about you, which is good considering some of what he has to say about Santa Barbara.

And clovis is quite a wonderful guy. He's such a great friend to James and just a really decent guy all the way through.

nice journal on you btw!
