meow meow meow

Mr. Newguise knows there is a stray fluffy girl outside. Miska is trying to catch her and foster her. I put out some food for her and it looks like she had some. I wish I could help more, but the doc says no strange kitties until after the baby's born.

Newg is standing by the door meowing plaintively.

why no strange cats?

if it's in need or in trouble, couldn't you take it to the vet to make sure it was disease-free?

mainly toxoplasmosis and various other parasites that stray kitties can pick up. But pretty much all cats have toxoplasmosis to some degree or another and that can cause birth defects. It's why you aren't supposed to scoop the litterbox whilst knocked up (and may I add YAY to that last bit)

agreed... what my hubby doesn't know is that even AFTER I have the baby... he's inherited the litterbox :>
