I should clarify

I'm not IN LABOR...it's that I've started the process that will lead to labor at some point. So we could have days or weeks. We'll know more at the next doc appointment next week.

The contractions I'm having aren't really painful (occasionally) and are really irregular. Mostly they are Braxton hicks, with possibly a bit of the real kind thrown in.

you should have seen James when the doc said that we were at the beginning of the final leg. I can't even describe it--fear, excitement, concern...it was so incredibly cute and wonderful.
