last night we left the pantry door open --food and cleaning stuff is in there, but also the as yet unused cat toys (we pass them out as others are eaten). Mr. Teatime jumped up in the cabinet and pulled down the whole bag of mice and brought them into the living room. He then started trying to get them out of the bag. We rescued the bag and gave him one--which then provided huge amusement for he and Zach the rest of the night.

dawwww

Scotch rediscovered the catnip blanket last nite which we put up on a shelf. he was so cute when i put it down on the floor after he was batting at it trying to get it down. He actually zoomed in for an attack. then he rolled himself up in it and started licking it.

he is suck a weirdo, but so adorable.

then he intertwined himslef with the blanket and fell asleep.

too cute for words. Of course we didnt have the camera's handy

Jyllian, why are your cats so smart?

I mean, I love my cat - dearly - and she's cuddly and wonderful. But she doesn't do things like that.

it is because they put these tiny tiny straws into our brains at night and suck out our grey matter.

Ok, ok, so I'm late cleaning the box.

At least I didn't get any "messages" this time.

They found the travel box, unwrapped it and proceeded to use it.

I noticed, because Autumn was "in postion." She looked at me, Meeped like she was saying "It's this in the living room, or a message in the hallway.", then buried the message.

tee hee
you should count yourself lucky. When James forgets to scoop, Mr. Teatime hangs his butt outside the box and poops on the floor whilst staring at you.

My 15 year old cat Timmy has never been one for pulling cute pranks but he is such a sweet heart. He never spent much time arould little kids so I was very happy to see how tolerant he is of my son. He doesn't want to sleep or play with him but he never trys to hurt my son when he (my son) crawls on top of him (timmy) while he's sleeping. He simply gets up and moves to another spot while making a lot of noise or *talking* as I call it.
