ceiling caved in in emily's room

we are not injured, though very fucking frazzled (emily did get hit
on the foot by a flying piece of drywall--I exploded into hysteria)
I'd been standing under the ceiling where it fell in 30 seconds before.
James is out of town.
I need sleep.
James' mom is supposed to come by today--the house is a mess--contents of the closet strewn all over the downstairs.
I have a big mess to clean up (not as big as it could be thanks to
miska and andrew)

I will continue crying now

Hi dear, I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you and Emily. Although the timing of this incident was horrible (mom-in-law's visit, husband away on business) I'm so very glad that you and your lovely girl escaped any physical harm.
I will send my best wishes your way for a less-eventfull week! Hope your landlord considers offering to compensate you above and beyond the physical damages, because I think you do have suit potential. The master law Cone would probably know this area better than I.

Oh totally!! But... (not to sound sexist), for now let your husband worry about pursuing this. You don't need to stress yourself out more over this, not until you're ready. For now just breathe and focus on you and baby. *hugs*
