pywacketit looks like she dislocated her knee or hip, the vet couldn't tell. James had to take her and I stayed home with Emily--Ninny felt bad enough already that I didn't want to subject her to screaming baby, she hates that. It's the first time I haven't been on a vet appointment. I feel guilty.
It could have happened going down the stairs, it also could have been, and I know this is both somewhat funny and sad--Teatime jumping on her with all his weight. We're wondering if he's approaching 20lbs now, it seems like it.
She doesn't seem to be in pain, she's eating, bathing and using the box. When the vet was examining her they heard a POP and then she seemed to get better. If she's not improved by Wednesday we'll go back for xrays. My poor old girl. I hate to think that my wee blue kitten is really 12 years old.
I'll have to carry her up the stairs and to the box. She is walking a better tho. Hopefully Emily will cooperate. I also hope the ceiling doesn't fall in again when James leaves this time. A sick kitty and a baby is enough.
Oh yeah and I"m bleeding AGAIN. I thought I got my period already, maybe this is it? Can you get two periods in two weeks? I called the doc, she hasn't called back.

Date: 2002-06-15 04:57 pm (UTC)Punkin would put up a strugle to be given to J for fixing, but as soon as she was in J's arms, she would stop struggling. J would adjust her, with Punkin purring all the time. On release Punkin would give us the "Vet Look", but walk away with her tail high and nary a limp.
Years ago I lived in another household where one of the residents had just had a baby. She had several periods in quick succession before setting back into her old pattern. But still check with your doctor.
