more ninny info
We just had to pet her and coddle her when she got home last night. She's bright eyed and as grumpy and opinionated as ever. She's eating up a storm and purring lots. It's such a relief. She's getting 1/2 a unit of insulin in the morning and 1/2 at night--smaller even than the smallest amount (2 units a day is usual) that is regularly given.
note--ask shadowfae if I could commission a couple of those polar fleece kitty blankets--maybe stuffed with something. or a floppy pillow so they are washable (sometimes, not often, but just in case--miss ninny has accidents, it's a diabetes issue) The last one we got was really pretty but when I washed it the innards bunched up and it's not comfortable to recline upon any more.
Miss Nin is here at my feet asking to be petted and I'm happy to oblige.
I baked cookies from scratch for the vet yesterday.
And if we have a good day today then I'll even get a chance to update about the faboo baby shower I went to last Saturday and Matt's box of cool surprises. Except for that DAMN CHICKEN TOY that James is carrying around and petting.
