oh and get this

NO pet deposit...NOPE, none!
and a garage...

and it's huge...and storage in the basement. And we get the keys tonite. This will be perfect until we can buy our own house.

I'm so excited about this.

wow and I'm happy and impressed for ya'll. Your house looks wonderful!

We still have to build Jam's credit (he never had a credit card...so you have to go into debt to be able to go deeper into debt) but after that, suburbs here we come...

I wonder if the scissorhand's mansion is still available.

Whoa. Sounds perfect!! I'm having a heck of a time finding a place that doesn't cost a fortune and actually allows a cat.

are you headed to seattle? I have some friends there I could introduce you too (IRL friends with a new baby)
And there are some great apartments there, just hard to find them online. When we were thinking of moving to seattle we spent a weekend there, got the paper and it was much easier. Are you looking in the online newspaper classifieds?

Yep, looking in Tacoma's paper & Seattle's (we'd prefer Tacoma, but are looking though the whole area). I've called several so far. We need a house or duplex, has to have w&d hookups, preferably a garage, and has to be under $625 and allow pets. heh, see the problem? We're paying $400/month here for a 3+ bedroom, and we've gotten used to that. Once we leave here, Shadow Fae will be our sole income, and that's going to dramatically change things.

oooo much good luck on that. We didn't find any places that cheap, but we weren't looking in Tacoma.
Didn't have a problem with cats though.
