I really wanted to go out tonight.
But Emily is sick and cranky and pooping ALL over herself (teething). Had to change her four times in the last couple of hours. It shows no sign of ending.

And James has to work.When he's working he can't effectively look after a sick baby dear.

It was girls night...

And I really wanted to go. The choice is easy though, James and Emily come first. And while it would have been fun to go out, I know where my responsibilities are.

Still I'm bummed and I think everyone is going to think I"m a flake.

Oh damn. SHe's screaming the I pooped all over myself scream.

My friend Kat in Cardiff who delivered via c-section last week sent me an email yesterday in which she has dubbed her new daughter "The Princess of Wails." Apparently the kid has a healthy set of lungs -- in the peel-paint-off-a-wall mode.
