pywacketJust this week Emily has started consistently handing me things and waving at her toys, the cats, the teletubbies and sometimes her dad and me.
She also got her first paper cuts (*sniff) from getting out her books and reading them to herself . Her paper cut happened on her index finger and was perpetrated by her new favorite book, Where the Wild Things Are. She turns the pages and talks to herself. And three times a day she goes to her book area and flings all the books out jumping up and down and picking out books until I read all of them (seriously, it's about 12 books) to her, some of them three or four times.
I'm so proud.
And finally today at about 9:40 she stood up for 7 seconds without holding onto anything.
Sometimes I feel like there isn't enough room in my body for all the pride and love I have for this bean.
