James looked after Emily today and I got a three hour (in a row) nap.
Everything is back in the closet.
She has been MUCH more even tempered today..as she was yesterday.
Though she has been eating up a storm (we've been doing much burping, thanks
carmen!) I'm still thinking growth spurt because there has been more sleeping too.
Tomorrow we've got to try going out or taking a walk again..I'm feeling ready to start moving..
which brings me to this:
Have I said this already? Do you know how MUCH you need your butt for? And when your butt is sore (mine was bruised and sprained (yes I sprained my butt and thighs) and I had some serious tearing both internal and external during the delivery in four places) you can't do much of anything. Sitting is difficult, walking is difficult...but get this--COUGHING,SNEEZING AND LAUGHING is all messed up too. And don't even *think* about going to the bathroom. I've (seriously) just stopped crying every time I go. TMI, oh well too bad. It just makes you think--
The butt, the worlds most under-rated body part, needed for EVERYTHING. I've even had to sit on a blow up pillow or pillows on the couch because everything is too hard on my butt.
They asked me over and over "is it pain or pressure and where does it hurt?" It's PAIN (i know the damn difference) and it's IN MY BUTT.
Which for some reason didn't seem to make the desired impact. I was worried Emily had taken a detour and was trying to come out the wrong way (she'd have my sense of direction then).
So yeah, say thank you to your butt today...
