and just saw a commercial for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy--this might be the ONLY reality show I will ever watch...unless you count Trading Spaces.

And Katherine Hepburn died today. I loved her movies and her eccentricity. She was one of the first recognizable feminists in movies. She wore pants and had a college degree when it was certainly not done.

Kate Hepburn was the best ever. Bringing Up Baby. The Philadelphia Story. The African Queen. Oh god, she was such a model for me as a bookish bluestocking high school girl. She lived and died on her own terms and I toast her for that.
