Acted cavalier about his death.
Lost his collar and blanket, probably.

I'm about to talk to the head of the clinic.
I'm about to let completely loose on them.
And I'm going to write our good vet and tell him just how they screwed up.

HOW COULD THEY?

We will be driving the rest of the kids into Chicago from now on. And making DAMN SURE everyone knows, that with the exception of Dr. Rovner, Wheeling animal hospital is an evil place.

This hurts so damn bad I can't believe it, don't these assholes know that he is a part of our family as much as anyone could be?

I am so very deeply sorry about what happened to you. I totally sympathize with what you are going through and I do totally understand how you feel since I feel the same way about our babies.
