great googly moogly

about an hour ago Emily counted to 13

13

she was counting crayons.

I'm flabbergasted. Counting usually happens a bit later than 18-19 months right?

just when you thought you couldn't swell with price any more...

Em's just a little prodigy. Admittedly, Colin didn't count to 15-20 until he was 3. (I just have to add that the parenting has so much to do with it---we all see 3-5 year olds in strollers with bottles or pacifiers just happily babbling along without making real words)

this having a kidlet is really cool. Suddenly all the time spent counting raisins and crayons becomes more than worth it.
