savagemutha pointed out in comments on the last post, Hotspur was a red point and I just can't ever have another red point. But I really love the Siamese personality and a (differently pointed) kitten would keep Zach occupied until the Siamese boy decided to turn curmudgeonly (he might not though, Hotspur was singular in that regard).
So we're going to go and look at the kitty boys tonite and if one yells "take me home," then it is decided. If not we'll go for the Bengal. I love how the Bengals look and how their personalities seem to be, but I gotta see those Siamese. This is the first time since Hotspur died five years ago I've been able to consider another Siamese.
There is the small matter of the Siamese being $300 cheaper than the Bengals. I would be getting my Birthday present way early if we got a Bengal. But it all depends on what the Siamese boys say tonite. Stay tuned, there will be kitten pictures posted if one claims us . Thank you all for you input. I'm leaning towards the Bengals, but have to give the Siamese their chance.
