I am SO HAPPY. Bartleby is a little spaz and talks all the time. He's very snuggly too. Emily is in love with him. She keeps saying "Barleby O are you?!" She's already drawn a picture of him and kissed him on the head.

We went upstairs to the guest room to hang out with him and she was very very good. I feel like I've been standing on one foot for months and just remembered to put my other foot down.

I knew he was for us--all his whiskers were chewed off. Hotspur used to chew off all Miss Ninny's whiskers. The breeders didn't know that about Siamese cats.

And [livejournal.com profile] savagemutha told me that one of the kitty places called for a reference and her man [livejournal.com profile] zombo_the_clown said I was the "cattiest cat person" ever and some other really nice things. That just makes me proud. Like glowing and happy proud.

I think I'm going to explode.

Yay! I'm glad to hear that your cats are such a source of joy for you. You're such a cat-junkie. Good thing they aren't illegal. I could just see you in a back alley now:

"Hey man... can I score some kitty off you?"

"Sure, but all I gots left is spayed"

Yay for Bartleby and the Cattiest Cat Person Ever!

Also, thanks for the advice about the baby food for Pepe. I read that you shouldn't give them food with onion (wtf? Onion in baby food?) because that can cause anemia, and one of the vets at Higgins (guh, not Roberts or Rovner, another guy) concurred. So I found some pureed chicken baby food with no additives and we'll see if she'll eat that.

She pooped outside the box today. But the good news is, she pooped! (which means she's digesting...something).

This has been your TMI Cat Report for the evening.

jes..onion and garlic. I knew about the garlic, but mschaos told me about the onion.

I hope your girlie is getting better all the time. You have to come out for cookout season , have some meat and beer, admire the cats and sit in the wading pool.

Heh. Well, she looked at the chicken baby food like "you've got to be kidding me, lady," so it's back to tuna and gravy. I wish she'd eat more. She also spit up a little last night, but the vet told me that can happen with the antibiotics. She just doesn't have much energy, but maybe that's because all of her energy is going toward clearing up that nasty abscess. I hope so.

Glad Bartleby is such a joy, and yes, a suburban cookout would be wunderbar. Amazing how much better I feel from having walked around in the nice spring air for a few hours today. And I'm not even a particular fan of spring -- autumn is my season. Pepe has been sunning herself, so at least she can enjoy that.
