hee

The bean REALLY loves They Might Be Giants. We've listened to "NO" (most of the cd, but supertaster kinda freaks her out) about a million times in the last two days.
This makes me really happy for some reason.

And [livejournal.com profile] oakangel I had a wonderful time as usual last night. Let's get together once more before you go to Burning Man--I'll go through my costume box for you.

Happy Birthday to my sister (aug 14) my neice payton (aug 16) and my friend [livejournal.com profile] savagemutha <--I'm buying you a mead on Sunday to celebrate you living through quite a damn eventful year, literally. And I can't express how lucky I feel to have my sister and her daughter in my life. And how much I miss being around them, I got used to that really fast. I found love for them came quite easily and suddenly.

Ren Faire coming up again on Sunday. Furniture coming in bit by bit this week.

It is being a very good week in many ways, though sadly Dr. Carl is back in the hospital, but he's out of ICU now. I deeply wish things would get better for him and my mother. My mother has continued to be kind and loving to us even in the midst of all this and nine million (just about--there are about 15 grandkids among her daughters and carl's five children) grandkids visiting. I'm very proud of her.

Wow, it seems like things have really changed for you regarding your relationship to your mom and sister! And in a wonderful way. That's amazing. Isn't life surprising?

Heh, I have two days to put together my costume for Ren Faire on Saturday.
