NPR says Kerry is going to concede by 1 pm.

This election was decided by three things in my opinion:
1) Republican dirty tricks
2)Homophobia
3)misplaced patriotism

I can't believe that we as a nation would elect as president someone who is obviously so stupid, so uncaring and so focused on money rather than people. It's just ugly.

And I"m terrified for the rights of women.

That, and the economy, our health care, and every other quality-of-life issue. I'm afraid that this is becoming a country of people hanging on the edge by their fingernails with no safety net in sight. I hope not.

we thought the same thing last night. There really is something about him. But do you suppose the U.S. could get past the fact that he's black? We can dream.
