Wasn't that it? Did they change it in the middle of the movie? It's been soooo long since I've seen it, I don't remember. I only remember that god awful lingerie/pajamas at the beginning of the movie they tried to pass off as a starfleet uniform.

It's an admirals uniform. I passed a test in a star fleet club and my score allowed me to wear the admiral's uniform. It's from the beginning of the movie I believe.
I really wish you were in San Francisco right now. Kate Mulgrew is in town performing in the play Tea at Five, which I have wanted to see for ages, and none of my friends who live out here are people who would be interested in seeing something like that. But I don't know if you were ever a Voyager fan or not. I was, especially because of Kate. (Despite the constant hairstyle changes.) Although Jeri Ryan and her crappy acting can take a hike.
Ah yes! It was that dreaded "standard duty uniform" that they had him in that I didn't like. What kind of standard duty does one do in that kind of outfit, anyway?
She's had her first one thanks to my friend rimma (rfd on LJ). I'm now in search of one her size for when we go to the next convention --probably this year.

Oh they did. I went to Oakcon and a few others. And I wore that to sell tickets to the movie (I was a cashier in a movie theatre back then).

I never went to any Star Trek cons when I was that age, unfortunately. I didn't manage to connect with other sci-fi geeks until much later in life.
So, will wee Em be getting her very own Star Trek uni? :-)
