does anybody have any clue why she's retiring? i mean, this just seems kind of out of left field, and her resignation letter doesn't provide any explanation at all.

Saw a rumor somewhere that her husband is in very ill health so she wants to spend time with him, but haven't seen anything confirming that.

I guess we can hardly blame her seeing as how she IS 75 years old and her husband has Alzheimer's. But still!
