and climbing and mewing and snacking while growling and climbing up me and falling asleep on my shoulder. Tiny kittens the size of your fist inspire run on sentences. His eyes are losing their little blue color and turning to green. He has tiger stripes on his tummy and is too fast to photograph, though I'll try again later. His wee little back legs are too long for his body and he starts running and then tumbles ass over teakettle.

He so amazingly cute I am having fits. So are the other three kitties. They have taken up sentry duty outside the door because they KNOW they need whatever is in that room. But not until after the vet and a few days because he is so tiny. I haven't had a kitty this tiny since Hotspur. Newguise was about 8 weeks, Ninny was three months and Zach was almost six months when I brought him home.

He has also climbed the curtains and the nightstand covering as well as scaling me while I was sitting in the room reading. He is acting ferocious and has eaten the tails off three mice I have given him.

Hey, if you want philosophical discussion check out my other journal. :-)

Pie also likes to use me as a tree, and falls asleep on my shoulder. They must have learned that from each other...;) she will run around and play, and then when she gets tired shell climb up my leg and fall into a nap. Needless to say, Ive been wearing jeans since she came home.

Pie now has a new trick. She likes to untie my shoes when Im sitting at the computer.
So now I have to be careful when I get up, or else Im gonna trip over myself.

This is actually the youngest kitten I have ever had. Qu'est que was full grown when I adopted her, and Persi was a good 2 or 3 months, and significantly larger than his littermates. I get all maternal with her because she seems so small and vulnerable.

how did all pie's tests come out FLV, ringworm, buttworms etc?

We're taking mr. teatime in tomorrow--he's got to get introduced soon, the other cats are going insane, especially zach cause he knows that mr. teatime is his kitten.

Oh, her FIV and leukemia were negative. I did that before I even brought her home, since my place is a studio apartment so I cant separate contact as easily. (the other cats could still touch her through her kennel if they wanted to.)

As for ringworm, the only test they did was the UV light test. she had one small spot on her foot, but to be honest, she has not lost any hair, so she seems ok. They didnt do any buttworm tests, because it would have cost me a fortune at Pets Unlimited, since I was being charged the emergency rates.
However, I will say her stools look fine. Shes making logs, no diarrrhea or anything.
The only weird thing is that she has some scabs, but no lost hair around those scabs. I chalk it up to the kind of condition the kittens were in before matt found them.

By the way, the vet told me that sometimes you can get false positives in FIV and leukemia for young kittens, so if you do, you are supposed to wait a week and test again.

I have Squeak related to your Pie and she has the same scabbies which are most likely flea bites.

All pets gave me a flea comb to use on her until she is old enough for the Advantage goop
