I guess I'd better get off my ass and do something with mine. I should have some free time as I've decided to quit dating unless something really special comes along.
Thanks but girls can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I'm just gonna take a little time to get in touch with myself until I go out to CA for a visit although I'm a about puckered about just showing up and saying, 'Hi, it's Scott, remember me?' Some people are really anal about who they have stay with them, you know so it'll be hard just showing up SF without all of the usual social lubricants.
oh my god...girls might be loonie (and I admit they are, it's why I stopped dating them) but boys can be just a big a pain in the butt. Sorry that one won't wash, it is the human condition to be pains in the asses *until* you find the right one, I think that cures it.
now I will agree that a moratorium on dating can be a good thing. I did that before James. I'd been dating like a fiend for a number of months and decided I was only finding idjits and was just going to enjoy my own life for awhile. I'd started in on that and POOF along came your brother not a few months later. I'd done the same thing before after other major relationships ended, both immediately afterward (I wouldn't date anyone for awhile, I was too much of a mess) then again after dating for several months (the aforementioned idiot factor).
As for a CA visit, you let me know when and I'll help. I'm absolutely sure there will be a number of folk happy to put you up. And feed you red wine ;-)
Ok um, first. Mad props to J-Xchromosome and J-Ychromosome for actually thinking about both the wonderful and sometimes scary consequences of parenthood. The mere fact that you and jaded are thinking and discussing these things assures me that you will be excellent parents.

The relationship angst thing could also be the fact that the spooky grrls don't pay much attention to me because I look so incredibly normal. They're all looking for spooky guys and have yet to see though the facade of my secret identity. You just got to see me dressed up at the Hallowedding with all of J&Js good taste.
There is a cloned kitty on television. I'm distracted now.
