pywacketEven with James leaving today was a stellar day. Just really cool.
Miskabrought by a bag of stuffed animals--got to get some gundy treats now for the two bears, bi polar bear, puppy and frog. They are so flipping cute I can't stand it.
And I got a box fromG'smom--a diaper bag, a soft scarf, a bear book and the cutest most incredible mohair bunny--you know like Steiff bears are made out of. It's just exquisite. It's not something she can play with but something that we'll be putting over her crib to watch after her.
And I got to talk to Clovis for about half an hour. And Gwen for an hour. Really good conversations about everything and anything. I miss them. Lots. I know I monopolized the conversation with baby stuff, but they were encouraging and so tolerant about it and I haven't had lots of voice contact with people ( a few, but that's something that I am improving on from today forward dammit, so you know who you are, send me your phone numbers!) It helps to remember that there is still a lot of love and friendship back there no matter what else happened. And that the good far outweighs the discomfort. That is what's told in the voices.
It really helps a lot to hear people being happy for us and the incipient Emily.
James is in SF now--I'm thinking he's at Dark Sparkle with some folks. I'm glad he's getting out and hope he's having fun.
It is going to suck trying to sleep tonite without him. I've probably said it before, but I used to be happy when my boyfriends/girlfriends took off on trips..I always felt like "yay solitude." But I miss James when he's gone. We're so good at being together and giving each other enough alone time that I don't look forward to the absences.

That bunny and a bear was sent to Ty when they were looking for new designs for their Attic Treasures line... The bear was accepted but the bunny wasn't.. I like the bunny! :)
