Mr. Teatime continues to grow and grow.

We believe him to be approaching 12 lbs easily now...have to find a scale to weigh him. We think he was born in July or late June 2001--that makes him at the most close to ten months old.

He hasn't stopped growing. Does his head look small to you, or does he just have a big ass?

I adore this fluffy weirdo. He's a complete mess , devils Miss Ninny and Zachary and won't stop nursing on Mr. Newguise but he's also very loving and timid around all but James and I (he's getting braver). He also has this wee meow that's very funny in a cat his size. He is our soccer hooligan cat.

The pillow he's on was Hotspur's favorite pillow. Something feels good about that

Who knew such marvelously hyoooooooooooje cats would end up on ou doorstep.

The grrl that Lori Selke took is apparently the biggest smooshy pants in the entire universe. (though not to be trusted because in kitten world the time between love me and attack kitten is too short)

He is monstrous, and as beautiful as I thought he'd be.

$5 says Emily's first word is "Kitty!"

Judging from the size of his large paws and medium-length fur, I'd say he's at least half Maine Coon. Very pretty!
Colin's standing here trying to climb on my lap for a better look: "Kitty! Rowr, meowr, kitty!".

Yep, that will be Emily's first word.

that's what we thought!
He looks just like a few purebred maine coones we've seen. And he loves water too. He's fallen in the bathtub at least five times.

Extra bonus: Maine Coons are supposed to be very good with children. :o)

mine is ok with water (he doesn't love swimming or anything, but he's ok with getting rained on or sprayed with water, he just doesn't care), but he's just a domestic shorthair ::sigh::.

how did he behave in the tub? was it full of water? did he swim??? i'm really curious.

he LOVES the water as long as he doesn't fall in. If he's standing there and it fills up around him he's been fine.We haven't tried to bathe him yet though. If he falls in he starts doing these hysterical jumping jacks (we have a really deep tub) and has to be rescued. He recovers better than the other cats tho. He likes to try and sit on my chest while I'm in the tub too.

Mr. Teatime looks and acts like a maine coone, but he's at most half a one. His mom is a calico and all his brothers and sisters look like Turkish van's. We think his mom did the naughty with several dads, or at least two. But Teatime is SO much like other maine coones that we've just decided that's pretty much what he is.
