i just pictured her all bundled up in your arms asleep, cute as a bug, but with pointy vulcan ears. ^e_e^

i haven't commented much on your posts because well, gee, what can i say that is baby related. but i wanted to let you know that i have really enjoyed reading your journal.

i have a pretty big family but the majority are males (ONE younger female first cousin), and they don't know shit for shat about anything like this. and i've never experienced pregnancy first or second hand either. so reading your entries have been really interesting to me.

the one thing i have always wanted to do was to touch a pregnant woman's tummy to feel, from the outside, what it's like when a tiny baby is kicking on the inside. am i weird? its such a strong desire for me, and it really makes me tear up to think about. probably because i'll most likely never experience it first hand.

i hope i get to do that someday. hmm, i feel weird now. i'll go. lol.

you aren't weird at all sweetie. It's really a pretty cool and wierd thing to feel a baby kick. The first time James did he looked like a goosed cat.

It's like a cross between ALIEN and the sweetest thing in the world.


Thanks for the nice words about my journal. I really want to keep a record of this time so when Emily gets around to having a baby (or not) she can see just how I felt --have a bit of history and a connection.

One day I hope there will be some other things than baby stuff in here, but it could take a while :-)

I have to confess walking down the aisle at the grocery store getting size 6 huggies for Mr.B, and seeing a display of the new fangled newborn pampers and supperssing the urge to buy you some. They are so cute that they almost made me squeal but i wasn't sure if the smell on them would be a bad triggering smell for you, so I didn't dare.

I used them when Blake was little because they were the only ones that had the rash care stuff. make sure you get the rash care wipes for her nether bits, they don't sting like the other ones. (according to Blake, he of the sensitive bits)

I am so happy about herself coming out to play. I can't wait to see pictures of her all wrapped up like a little burrito in a baby blanket.

I think she'll be a Taurus just so she can be difficult and stubborn. But she'll be on the cusp, so it won't be too awful. :)
