she's still sleeping a lot at night
I'm still tired.
But we are getting the hang of this thing.
And she smiles a LOT now.

on a weird note I'm plagued by thoughts of SIDS and have to check her frequently.
I look at her face and realize how long I've waited for her and the thought of anything happening to her hurts more than I imagine anything could.

I have more to say, but I'm going to try for a nap now that she's napping.

How old would she have to be for you to be in the clear for SIDS?

My mother used to put a mirror under my nose to see if I was breathing because I had the most annoying habit a small child can have while sleeping. . .I slept with my eyes open. I can only imagine how creepy that must have been.
