she's still sleeping a lot at night
I'm still tired.
But we are getting the hang of this thing.
And she smiles a LOT now.

on a weird note I'm plagued by thoughts of SIDS and have to check her frequently.
I look at her face and realize how long I've waited for her and the thought of anything happening to her hurts more than I imagine anything could.

I have more to say, but I'm going to try for a nap now that she's napping.

Actually SIDS can occur up until age one. 6 months is the real risk period though. I checked my son every 5 minutes when he was born. I don't think I slept at all until he turned 1 1/2. You'll be fine and so will the baby :)

I felt like a MORON. Just thank your stars that they will never remember you did it, and that because you do it at night not many people catch you doing it ;)
