and YES it happened again..from 9 until 2:30, then from 2:45 until 5, then 5:20 until 7
WOO HOO
The Dr. Spock book says this might be her giving up all the night feedings. That's cool. She still doesn't sleep much during the day, but that's fine too. She's good fun.
She's smiling a lot now..and we can coax them out her easily.
Her grumpiness now is only just for a bit in the morning before poo time (how bizarre, it's between 8:45 and 9 every day) and at night before she gives into sleep, just for a bit. She's had a bad day every so often (the most recent being the day the ceiling caved in and when I went out with Miska) but most of the time she's been just grumping a bit in the morning and evening.
I can tell now that the early weeks, especially the first month, were just an example of her being an infant. She was shocked by being on the outside so she cried a lot after the first week..but as we got better and calmer, so has she. She's getting used to being in the world.
Could it be we escaped colic? She's even burping (some HUGE dang burps too) on her own.
She can hold her head up for over a minute at a time and she's rolling over halfway.
And smiling--and making hilarious new noises..social noises.
Don't we have the world's most wonderful baby? Well I think so.
She grooved on the teletubbies today--there's got to be some subliminal baby frequency in that show. Or something, heck I like it.
This morning she was in bed with James while I was getting dressed and I came in to have him hand her to me...As they woke up..they both stretched
in exactly the same way
and made the same face.
It was just the coolest thing.
It's so amazing to see bits of ourselves in this entirely individual little person.
