need hair advice again

said the girl who can't leave her hair alone.
It is too orange I think. I either need to go back to full on red or (cue ominous music) go blonde. Which I haven't in years and think would be fun. I tried to get an appointment with Carrie, but I was too late, she's booked up....
so how can I get a good blonde color, like Emily's, without ending up green? I have some speedlite to er, strip it. Luckily my hair is in great condition right now (all the sad parts got chopped off).
So how to avoid green? Any tips?
